Inspiration and Education Sessions
How Can We Meet These Needs?
To meet these needs, three interventions are proposed. They are interlinked, though can be engaged separately and at different times in your Purpose Programme. The outcome for any Psychology of Stories training is to give people the knowledge and skills to notice stories, collect and refine them, and then use them to build connection, insights, and influence.
These are standalone educational sessions for key stakeholders in the Purpose Programme, offering them insights into what makes a good story and building their skill in capturing and using their own stories, and those of their customers, to build clarity, connection, and influence. Depending on the scale of the series, a range of different speakers on storytelling, from South Africa and the UK, can be sourced.
Curated Storytelling Workshops
This builds on the education sessions by adding exercises and workshop discussions to create a shared set of stories for Purpose Ambassadors. It offers more interaction and great hands-on advice, with greater depth on how stories can be made tangible and turned into action.
Teams Training Packs
Combining elements of the education sessions and curated workshops, we could develop a training pack for teams so they can use the techniques of storytelling in their everyday work. This can be placed on the Purpose Platform for wider sharing.
